Littlest Lessard - Week 5 Results

Thanks to Michele and Marc for agreeing to allow me to weigh in a day late this week. The hotel I was staying at in California this week did not have a scale, so I wanted to get home to use the scale at the gym.

Too bad for them that they did...

As promised, I've taken my first week. I lost 6.0 lbs this week for a weekly percentage loss of 2.1%. My totals are 28 pounds (9.0%) good enough for second place overall. I had hoped for a double digit week, but that large piece of Tiramasu really did me in. It was worth every delectable bite.

I did reach an important milestone for me though - I've made it to a quarter of my total weight loss goal.

Marc lost another 6.6 pounds (1.8%) for a leading 47.2 total pounds (11.8%).

Michele had a difficult week, gaining 3.0 pounds (-3.0%), but she's still got total weight loss of 12.0 pounds (5.1%)

I hear Marc shaking as he knows I've begun to close the gap and his monster advantage of having all that weight to play with is gone. He'll either crumble and fold this week like a stale chocolate chip cookie, or he'll redouble his efforts and lose 10,000 calories in the gym.

I vote cookie.

Bite my cookie! It must be a hollow victory to win the week, and I still lose more weight than you. Three weeks of a promised double digit loss, and a total of 8 in the three weeks combined? Sounds like that dilemma of gym or cookie is something you have firsthand experience with there, bro. How are you going to win? When you so obviously keep voting cookie for yourself? Good luck! You definitely need it.
Marc
P.S. Thankyou Michele for your kind words. Go get 'em, Sis!

WOW - fighting back like a cornered and desperate (and hungry) animal. You can attack all you want, the truth is I lost more weight than you this week, as a percentage. Considering you've won every week and are only 2% ahead, you should be scared. Add to that the fact that you got nothing left in your tank, and we both know you are done.

THANK YOU BOTH!! I needed a good chuckle...a couple more from the pair of you and I may very well be back in the game. You have definitely lifted my spirits...

The fact of the matter is this- with 12 pounds total loss, Michele needs 35 lbs. more to win. With 28 pounds total loss, you, Scott, need 34 lbs. more to win. And with 47.2 pounds total loss, I need 33 lbs. more to win. So throw out your precious percentages, as I now have less weight to lose than any of you to win this thing. And 11.8% and 9% are 2.8% apart, not 2%. I know these big numbers can confuse you hillbilly types, but maybe your brain just needs a little food. Why don't you take your shotgun and go kill yourself one of those desperate cornered animals you are so familiar with, and "friccasee" yourself up some grub, Texas Longwinded.

Let's see - so much to whale [sic] on and not enough time. Let's just say this - since you've replied to this thread twice now, and you never really reply a lot, it is pretty obvious that you are scared. I don't blame you. You've focused on cardio and calories and forgot to build muscle. So, now that your water weight is all gone, you won't be losing too much more (AND, THE 8 WEEK GYM MEMBERSHIP YOU HAVE IS SOON RUNNING OUT)! Anyone who reads this can see your fear. That's cool. I'd be scared too - that everything is out of your control at this point. Hell, I'd be despondant that all that hard work that you did was for nothing. Like they say, you can lose weight, but you can't change that face. :)

Now that I know you are scared, and there's blood in the water, I'll go for the kill. Next week's weigh in will be the final nail and you'll be demoralized so bad, you'll probably go get 12 big macs from McDonalds. Don't fret, it'll be ok. I do, however, thank you for the motivation.

Michele - that's one. One more and you'll be back.

So far, you have only been running your mouth, not your numbers. Then again, you may have burned 10,000 calories with your mouth alone. Keep up the good work, Mouth in the South. Like the Civil War, the North will win this one, too.

That's your attempt at the last word? You really thought that was clever? I was right - you aren't very clever, or bright, for that matter.

At this point...I will close my mouth and let the scale do the talking next Wednesday.

BTW - the buyout is up to $75.00. Anytime you want to pull a Mitt Romney, you are welcome to send me a check. Your brain is so addled with fat, you're gonna push on even though you know you ain't got a chance - you are a Huckabee.

Clever? Bright? Fat jokes about me? Wow, you're brightness never shined as bright, and your cleverness is only exceeded by your ego. If you think fat jokes about me are clever, that only goes to show you how the intelligence level in the Dim Star state of Texas took a serious hit when you moved there. Do they have a lot of handicapped parking down there for people like you? Or do they relegate you to the drive-thrus? You're going to let the scale do the talking? The scale hasn't been able to get a word in edgewise with you, pal. You have more in common with Cheney, because he's a Dick, and you're a......nevermind.

You forgot your medication today, didn't you? Nice post. You are more all over the place than Britney Spears. South, scale, body parts. Damn - you don't know what you want to attack.

That last post of yours was so poor, I've lost my desire to match wits with you. Just no competition. Just like this Littlest competition.

See you at Gasho.

Good, then we won't have to read anymore rantings of the Texas Dullard. Thank God for small favors.
Marc
P.S. I knew you were a quitter, and that is what is behind your pitiful buyout offers. Let us know when you quit the Littlest Lessard, okay?

Just like those Big Macs, you'll eat those words Wendesday.

In fact, a little side wager. Whoever loses next week has to tell the other...

"I bow to your extreme weight loss abilities"

as a comment next week.

You in, or are you eating pie? Humble pie!

Oh...and keep up the good work!

That cookie trick never worked for me. I never saw that calories fall out and I gained weight when I ate them.

So much for motivation. Just got back from two hours in the gym. Elliptical, weights, and treadmill. I feel awesome.

Originally, I tried cutting pasta into smaller pieces (smaller pieces = less calories) but soon discovered that didn't work. I'm not sure the cookie thing works either, but it's a delicious experiment.
